Last week, one of my favorite blogs posted a reader question about whether it’s appropriate for women to wear red lipstick at work.  Even a cursory glimpse at my blog will easily reveal my opinion–heck yeah!  I love lipstick, especially red lipstick.  I was stoked to see that Kat, and many other commentators, agree with me.

What do you think?  Do you rock red lipstick at work?

Happy Monday y’all!  Thanks for reading!

I’m not a lipstick girl myself (although I just received the Sephora + Pantone Tangerine Tango makeup set as a gift from a friend and I am already addicted to the bright coral gloss, so my whole view of this might change soon!) but I always think that women who wear lipstick to work look fabulous, professional and polished. As long as it’s not applied the way one applies Chapstick (where 50% of it ends up above the cupid’s bow or on the teeth–as exemplified by the much of the septuagenarian typist pool at a very old-school IP firm where I once worked!), I think it’s pretty much a guaranteed win! 🙂

Thanks ladies! I am a lipstick-aholic. I can’t resist buying the latest and brightest colors, although I am definitely partial to red. And lipstick on the teeth is the bain of my existence!! I hate when it happens. Grrr…
