Today I decided to mix three prints, all in different shades of gray.  It’s been a very gray summer, and now just as the sun starts to shine every day, I feel like wearing gray.  Isn’t it ironic?  I haven’t worn these shoes in a while – they are only 3″ heels, which means they are flats in my world.  But I’m loving all the leopard spots everywhere, and lucky to have these since I’m trying not to shop not shopping right now.

I saw this look yesterday on Sephora and it called to me.  Cat eyes and red lips?  Two of my favorite things.  I used the Stila liquid liner in Indigo (amazing) over this Makeup Forever eyeliner in 12L (blue/green), and for lips, I used Givenchy liner in Lip Rouge with Makeup Forever lipstick in 43 – Moulin Rouge on top.  This combo, plus lots of blotting, has not budged so far today – even after drinking coffee and water out of a straw and eating lunch.    I know it’s usually opposites attract when it comes to eye liner (i.e., navy is best with brown eyes), but my eyes are light greenish-blueish-grayish and navy really makes them pop.   Especially when I’m tired, which is pretty much a given these days.

* I cut the tag off of this scarf and can’t remember where it’s from… I think Gap or Old Navy but it could be from J.Crew too.  It’s a mystery.
