Jury Duty

Dress – Old Navy; Cardigan – J.Crew
Necklace – Banana Republic; Shoes – Stuart Weitzman
Bag – Kate Spade

I was actually selected as a juror! I’m still shocked but beyond excited to have this opportunity to be on the other side of the well in the courtroom. Pretty sure I’m the happiest juror in the building.

I snapped this pic on a break – sorry for the long period of silence (and the blurry photo). I’ve been working and traveling a ton, which leaves me with little creativity (and time) to write posts. I’ll try to be better in August!

Hope everyone has a lovely Friday!

Smoking hot in that Old Navy dress. You might distract a few of the male jurors away from the case though. In Australia getting out of jury duty is a national sport. The whole system is broken. Sentences are out of touch with community standards. Evidence is “withheld” from juries for being too prejudicial, even though it is relevant. There is no search for the truth, and the rich get better results because they can afford better lawyers. Overall, the whole court system is a game. This clip pretty well sums it up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHFa30pD3N8
